Breath of Life Healthcare was born out of deep concern for the growing number of women and children falling through the cracks of our medical system.

Carter and Jeannie Smith, both medical professionals who founded Coastline Women’s Center 14 years ago in Horry County, recognized ongoing needs among the women and children they served. These needs were also recognized among other families and friends in the community.

The Smiths have earned great respect nationwide and are known for providing compassionate care and doing all things with excellence. After extended prayer and hearts positioned in obedience to God, they stepped out in faith to launch Breath of Life to care for families from womb to childhood.
